Hand held portable data collectors can be used to eliminate the drudgery in taking physical inventories. Just scan the item, enter the count and download into the Point of Sale System.

Card Readers, Pin Pads and Signature Pads
Use a credit card reader to swipe card information into your Point of Sale System to speed credit and debit card verification. You may use a mag stripe reader to swipe membership cards, gift cards or anything that has a magnetic stripe. Pinpads prompt customers to swipe their debit card, enter their PIN number and it verifies the transaction. Signature pads provide a fast and secure customer checkout. They prompt customers to swipe their card, enter their PIN number, if a debit card, or enter their signature if a credit card. You no longer must keep a copy of customer signed receipts.
